I am a retired librarian who lives in Denver Colorado. I became interested in genealogy in the late 90's. I began by researching my paternal family names and have tried to find family on my materal side along with some of my husbands family too. The names I am researching are Snowberger, Wyon, Benner, Claycomb, Allison, Leipner, Schneider, Forrester, Reynolds, Vycichl and Foreit. There is much road to be traveled. My success seem to come in spurts.
Enjoyed trips to Switzerland to soak in the history and beauty of the areas where these ancestor emmigrated. Swiss alps for the Snowbergers. My husband and I also visited the birth place his grandmother, Anastasia Marie Foreit, in The Czech Republic.
