Genealogy research has long been a passion of mine (at least since 1978 or thereabouts). When I retired in 2002 after 31 years of service with a major Texas police department, GENEALOGY was close to the top of my retirement bucket list. Now working again, I'm involved in property management and development (we take old, usually vacant, downtown bldgs and restore them turning them into something useful while maintaining their historical integrity), but I still make time to dabble in genealogy.

A latecomer to Find A Grave, I joined in 2011 and I've enjoyed it ever since. The exercise I get from walking cemeteries and the sense of fulfillment I recieve from responses to the photos are both priceless.

With the exception of members of our immediate family, I am willing to transfer memorials in response to requests conforming to F.A.G. policy. I am human and make mistakes; if you note an error on one of my memorials or spot a duplicate, please notify me immediately and I'll take corrective action accordingly.
