Please don't be afraid to ask for a transfer. If I'm not related and you are, I will gladly transfer a memorial as I think memorials are kept better by family members.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE if you add a picture of an obituary to ANY of the memorials I manage, PLEASE STOP doing this! Adding pics of obituaries goes against privacy AND copyright laws AND Find A Grave terms of service.. The paper that published the obituary has the copyright to ALL the obituaries they publish. You do NOT have the right to post it anywhere you please.

There are also living privacy laws. You can't publish info on living individuals. They have privacy rights!

You can, however, do the suggest an edit and type the obituary into the bio but please omit living survivors and street address of the subject (living family members could still be there and you are publishing their address to subject them to physical theft and identity theft) and if you don't, I will. If you want to publish all this and go against laws and Find A Graves rules then do it on the memorials you manage of your own family, BUT be very aware that Find A Grave has the right to kick you off and they will, I've seen it happen!

if you are posting pics of obituaries and nothing has happened and they are still up, its just that no one has reported it or you to Find A Grave…….yet….. But it will eventually happen.
