I have been a resident of Northwest Iowa my entire life having lived on farms/acreages near Germantown, Larrabee & Gaza and now live in Le Mars. I graduated from Paullina High School in 1970 and married my high school sweetheart in 1972. I worked for Northwest Iowa Power Cooperative (NIPCO) my entire career and retired in 2016.

When my parents gave me a copy of the 1983 Paullina Centennial book, little did I know how much enjoyment I would get researching my relatives in the Paullina/Germantown area and beyond. I have met many new "cousins" and made many new friends in my search for members of our family trees. I enjoy researching the Paullina Times to learn about many of my family members.

I am certainly not an expert but will share anything that I my have concerning the communities in the Paullina area.
