Descendant of the Grumbles family, who arrived in Texas in 1838, and in Austin by 1845. Other family lines of interest include (but not limited to): Best, Blackmon, Blaylock, Cartwright, Faulkner, Giles, Ichante, Morris, Moseley, Musick, Nixon, Plumley, Searle, Summerfield, West, Whitfield.
My primary goal is NOT to compete in amassing a huge number of memorials to create or manage, but instead to seek information on people in my family tree, ensure that information is accurate, and link memorials of spouses, and children/parents, both for sentimental reasons and to help others in their own searches.
