I am working to help document the neglected African American cemeteries of Memphis and Shelby County, TN. Currently focusing on Old Philadelphia, Rose Hill, Mount Carmel, and Hollywood cemeteries.

I am pleased to say that with the help of several other Find a Grave volunteers, St. Pauls Cemetery in Druid Hill Park, Baltimore, has been fully documented, relying on the original burial register, the records of Martini Lutheran Church, obituaries, and death certificates.

I am always researching the Breyer, Held, Kuenne, Bertram, Scharrer and related families who emigrated from Germany to Baltimore in the 1840s-1850s, the Phipps family who emigrated from London to Baltimore in 1856, as well as the Hays, Rhodes, and related families from Henderson and Decatur Counties in Tennessee.
