I have been doing genealogical research for over 30 years and also teach Genealogy classes in Salem, Centralia, Trenton and Nashville, Illinois.
I am researching Lowrys, Shelton, Cates, rudd, Ray, vaught, Vaughn, Cottrel, Yates, Gibson, Hogg, Stallions, Owens, Ragan, Aultman, Myers, Seiber, Myers, Judd, Waggoner, Wood, Hawke, Dobyns, Bunton, McQuary, Wisdom, Wilsher, Carter, Gilley, Brooks, Bedel, Bunton and others.
I enjoy researching, teaching genealogy and canvassing a cemetery. I've even learned how to dowse for graves but havent' tried it in a cemetery yet.
It really irks me when I see so many family trees copied from one another with all the mistakes carried on. People don't check them out or document them, they just copy them thinking they are true.
