If I have posted a photo on a Find A Grave memorial that you would like to copy, please contact me for permission. As with many other members of the Find A Grave website, I started compiling my family tree and soon realized that Find A Grave was a huge part of collecting genealogy information because most of my family members did not have a photo/memorial when I began. Knowing how helpful this website has been for me in locating my ancestors is the reason why I began taking photo's for others who are looking for theirs. Paternal Surnames in my family: TAPP descendants of William Taptico - of the County of Northumberland in the Colony of Virginia and King of the Wiccocomoco Indians - Haplogroup Q. Maternal Surnames: FERRELL, GORDON, CORBITT/CORBETT, & MCCLINTIC.
Most of the memorials I create are for those I never knew personally and all are created with heartfelt respect for the individual and their surviving families, and I would hope that someday, a family member will be looking for those members of their ancestry family that I have photographed. Please feel free to check the memorials I have added to see if anyone you know is listed here and if they are YOUR family member, please ASK me for a transfer.
