Beginning in the summer of 2009 I undertook the project of updating cemetery records for Resurrection Cemetery(originally Swedish Cemetery and then the Lutheran Cemetery). Resurrection Cemetery is owned by First Lutheran Church of St. Peter, Minnesota (originally Swedish Lutheran Church).

The Regional Treatment Center, formerly the St. Peter State Hospital owns the State Hospital Original Cemetery, which is adjacent to Resurrection Cemetery. However, the State of Minnesota sold a 5 acre section to First Lutheran Church for a minimal fee with the stipulation that the Church maintain the Original State Hospital Cemetery.

In order to maintain the integrity of these cemetery records, I will not transfer memorial pages unless it is confirmed that a person is not actually interred in one of the two cemeteries mentioned above.
