"Find a Grave Guidelines say that memorial managers have the responsibility to research the edits that are sent by 'Suggest Edits' or 'Suggest other Corrections', and that edits should be accepted or declined according to the manager's research or the research that is sent in." mbh

* I reserve the right to reformat or decline suggested submissions.

*Links to unknown burials will be declined.

I learned from my mistakes.

I would appreciate being asked to use my photos on other memorials or sites. I take my time to do them, (I love to!)but would like to be asked and acknowledged. Personal preference. And I don't mind sharing.

I am working on updating the memorials I manage, which is time consuming, yet fulfilling.

Please refrain from rudeness and the urge to be snarky if you happen to notice an error.

I will gladly revisit the updates, if I have indeed even made them yet.

I spend extensive time on each memorial edit/update in my attempt to ensure the best possible accuracy.

I am human. I make mistakes and omissions.

*As far as adding obituaries to the memorials I manage. I will add them when available. If you don't want to add them to yours, you don't need to.

A place of death on a death certificate should be what matters. Whether it is in or out of city limits, makes no difference. The question is " place of death" so what the certificate states should be the answer. Same for place of birth. IMO

And if you are going to quote a document such as a birth certificate or obituary, PLEASE provide it. Otherwise, I'm going to take the time to try to find it myself.

Find A Grave is a wonderful place! When it is realized we are all in this together and doing what we can for a bit of history, it all goes smoother. I'm so grateful for the many fine people here!

Relax....
