One day I'll be in Christ's loving arms. Do you know where you'll be after you've drawn your last breath? In the Bible John 14:6, Jesus says, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father (God) except through Me." If you put your faith in Jesus, and believe He died and rose again for the atonement of our sins, and ask for forgiveness of your sins, you can experience the eternal life that God has waiting for you in Heaven. "For God so loved the world, that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life." (John 3:16)
My name is Vanessa Lynn Porter (maiden name is Mayberry) and I am 40 years old. I am an artist and a poet. Being Mulatta ( half white and half black) has made it interesting to see the differences in my two separate heritages. I enjoy researching my family's genealogy, and I love to add family pictures so that those who come by their memorials can see who they were. I am always interested in meeting distant relatives. We use to have a Blaise family reunion but they stopped doing it when I was younger. Our family also had a Smith family reunion. If anyone is related to me please message me, I would love to exchange pictures and stories! I am related to all of my memorials except one. If you recognize a memorial as your kin let me know! I'm a mom to my sweet 12 year old and a wife to a wonderful man, my soulmate Eric.
