Genealogy and everything it encompasses is my life's passion. I started my own adventure into my family's genealogy when I was 18 years old in 2008. It all started when I wanted to know my maternal grandmother's maiden name, and it has exploded into not only a strong family tree, but a vast forestscape of knowledge I've accumulated.

In several branches of my family, I am a seventh-generation Arkansan.

I was born on November 14, 1989, in Little Rock, Arkansas, the son of Michelle Renne Jones and Stephen Wayne Ainsworth. I am the grandson of Glen Edward "Buddy" Jones, Ola Jeannine Gray Reaves, Sherry Lynn Jordan Jones (step-grandmother), John Edward Ainsworth, and Melba Jean Murphy Ainsworth.

I am a dedicated and published scholar and historian who has devoted much of my life to genealogical and historical research, beginning at age 18. I graduated with Honors from Fordyce High School in 2008, earned an Associate of Arts in English Literature from National Park Community College in 2012, and received a Bachelor of Arts in History with Honors from the University of Central Arkansas in 2027. I am a member of Phi Alpha Theta, Arkansas Historical Association, the Union County Genealogical Society, and the Williams Cemetery Association.

I was raised in Fordyce, Arkansas, and spent my twenties in Hot Springs before moving to Little Rock in 2020, where I met my husband, Randy Lee Reynolds. We became engaged on Randy's birthday that year and were married two years later on November 5, 2022.

In my spare time, I am an avid reader, and my home library is my favorite room to be in. I love antique and thrift shopping, genealogy, spider lilies, thunderstorms, everything about Autumn and Winter, spending time with my family, and going on adventures with my husband.

I grew up in Fordyce, Arkansas, which is the area where almost all of my maternal side of my family originated, spanning back to the Civil War. The areas my maternal ancestors hailed from include Dallas, Cleveland, Calhoun, and Bradley Counties of Arkansas. My paternal side hails from the Union, Columbia, and Ouachita Counties of Arkansas.

I love to travel to my ancestors' cemeteries, taking photos of tombstones, gathering histories of the cemeteries, and, of course, paying respects to the lives they led. I have frequented several courthouses, libraries, funeral homes, and MANY visits to the state archives to piece together major milestones of their lives and further put into focus the mosaic of my family spanning generations.

Findagrave.com, genealogybank.com, newspapers.com, chronichlingamerica, and Ancestry are my top sites of choice. I think the combination of all these sites (along with contacting local historical societies, courthouses, and archives) helps dig out the truth within my findings.

I adore how family research is ever-expanding and virtually never-ending. It truly is an adrenaline rush to dive deep into the lives of the past that ultimately led us to where we are today.

I've conducted countless hours of interviews with handfuls of family members over the years, some of whom were a few of my great-grandparents before they passed away. The wealth of stories each has entrusted to me is absolutely priceless.

If my efforts bring forth anything, my one wish is to keep all of my family's memories alive just a little bit longer. I wear the badge of my family's story keeper with honor.
