I am a tenth generation descendant of Edward Spalding who came over to the colonies from England in the very early 1600's. He settled in Braintree Massachusetts and later helped found Chelmsford Mass. Edward's descendants are very prevalent in the New England area and I have been tracing their dispersion throughout the United States.
