I am now 87 years old and just finished my book "Kansas Sunflowers" for family ancestor reading. It took many years and a whole lot of research. But I loved doing it and Findagrave helped me a lot. I was the 9th of 10 children and we were all born in and around Manhattan Ks. Leonardville where our Great Grandfather settled when he came to America from Sweden. Victor Hanson ( you may see him on many TV channels is a cousin to me. I graduated from Leonardville HS in 1955 and went to Kansas City Mo to work at General Motors Acceptance Corporation where I took early retirement in 1986.My husband William Doherty and I moved to Naples FL and lived there 19 years. we then moved into our mountain home in 2004 and have been here ever since. I am back on Findagrave looking for a 1909 photo of Peter Hanson my grandfather.
