I have been into genealogy since 1983 when a family member contacted me for information. Since then it has been hobby that never ends, a puzzle incomplete. The earlier years were different when I sat in libraries and historical societies throughout the northeast USA and read thru the microfiche. I did photograph headstones, but back then only because it might have been different or pretty. "Find A Grave" is a great treasure.
Living in the historic Wyoming Valley of Northeast PA, there are many cemeteries that are old and need to be preserved or logged soon.
I plan to do my share, and pass it forward .......

My most recent project was helping to finish the transcribed and digitization of the record books from Pittston Cemetery, and working with the negative scanning project from the Greater Pittston Historical Society ( GPHS ). Also helping to transcribe the old record books from the City of Pittston.
