After searching for ancestors for quite some time, I finally found the resting place of my Irish immigrant family in Union Cemetery located in Brooklyn, NY. The demise of Union Cemetery was sad to stumble upon, the search was long and frustrating and so my interest in Findagrave change from searching for my own ancestors to helping others find their elusive family by posting records that I come across.
I am more than happy to transfer memorials to family members upon request as you can keep far better care of the memorial than I can. I only ask that as you claim a memorial that maybe you will be kind enough to "find a grave" to list and help in the search that others might have.
