I have researched family history for many years. I've been fortunate to have been able to visit the country, homes, churches and distant relatives in their homeland and to walk in the footsteps of my forefathers, and I have finally published both my father's and my mother's family history. I have found that contributing to Find A Grave is a great way of paying back (or paying forward) for the assistance I received over the years. I especially appreciated the sharp, clear pictures I received and I try hard to provide the same for the requests I handle.

I have also found that you are never finished and you never give up the quest. Sometimes when you think you've hit a total brick wall, some bit of information seems to appear out of nowhere that helps to fill one more blank. Happy and successful research to all.
