Guess it's never to late to start investigating family history, which is what brought me to this site and connected me to a distant relative who is also a member.

My husband and I live on San Juan Island in the northwest corner of Washington state. I am a bead artist, author, teacher, now semi-retired. We have a cat, but no kids or grandkids.

I grew up in central California, as a third generation Californian. We moved to St. Paul when I was 7. After college, I chose to return to the Pacific Ocean and mountains.

I'm particularly interested in hearing from you if you are related to the Atkins side of my family. I have some second cousins out there whom I haven't seen since I was a child.
