I was born and raised in central Pennsylvania and hale from the Snyder & Mifflin County area. Family research has been a hobby for over 20 years, and as a result, I am considered the family historian.
My interest began with my love of history, Civil War history to be exact. I use the knowledge of my family history to flesh out my character as I offer period demonstrations to children and interested adults. I dress as my great great grandmothers dressed and demonstrate spinning, weaving, and vintage toys. Recently, I have added 1400-1600 Irish demos to my list.
My work is not flawless. If you find an error and can substantiate your information I will gladly change what needs changed. I make a concentrated effort to have reliable sources for all information, however, bits and pieces have slid by me over the years.
