After 20 years of having NO information about my birth father I built up the courage to REALLY REALLy probe my mom for some facts, All she could tell me was his first and last name (and she also gave me an incorrect middle name, which WAS NO HELP TO MY SEARCH!! lol) and she gave me his last known city of residence. So I began a very broad search... I wanted to meet him, see what he looks like, what kind of music he likes, and what he does for fun, i just wanted to find out what he has been up to for the past 20 + years! I held no animosity when starting my search, only a GREAT DEAL of curiousity. =) Over the course of 3-4 years i would randomly google, facebook, & peoplesearch these "facts" about my father....when, about a week ago i was on ANOTHER of my MANY google hunts for him when i found a website w/ a VERY SIMILAR name to the one my mother provided me (only it had a differant middle name, but same innital & same hometown)so i figured what could it hurt to just look....ANNNNNND OH MY GOOODNESSS!!!!!!!!! a photo of a young man popped up on the screen ANd a wave of emotion came over me like I AHVE NEVER FELT BEFORE!!! I felt an AMAZING amount of LOVE for this face that I was staring at, my eyes were instantly filling w/ water because NEVER IN MY ENTIRE LIFE have I EVER seen ANYONE who looked like me and this young man (who I INSTSNTLY, UNQUESTIONABLY knew was my DAD!) LOOKED EXTRAORDINARILY like me from his smile to his hairline and eyebrow placement to his cheek & jaw bones, EVERYTHING!!!....Going into my search I had no clue how it was going to all turn out and i can HONESTLY say, that I NEVER EVER though that this is how I'd end up finding my dad, but I do feel very BLESSED to have ALL the develpoing information i do, & I don't know WHO to thank or HOW to thank them for posting on this website, BUT A BIG, HUGE THANK YOU!!! to anyone who contributed, because w/o that photo i would still have no answers about who i am and where i came from...I have yet figure out how to handle & process the information I now have. But, One thing I Do know is, that there is a HaPPy new path for me to walk on now, knowing that MY FATHER is and has been walking beside me all along. <3 =D
