Back in the late 80's I became interested in my family's genealogy and made a lot of progress documenting it. But when my kids came along, genealogy took a back seat to little league and Cub Scouts... Now that they're grown I'm picking up where I left off and am happy to see all the online resources that weren't available back then! Find-A-Grave is awesome! I'm thrilled every time I find another ancestor's memorial that someone took the time to post and am happy to "pay it forward" by helping others with photo requests.

Aside from graving, I like to hike, backpack, canoe and geocache. I am also an amateur novelist so look for me at a booksigning some day!

As for photos - I am generally happy to share photos I've posted with others who'd like to use them. My only request is that you include my name as the source in the photo comments, and maybe drop me an email or post a message that you're using it. I've run across my photos on Ancestry that others have used without acknowledgement. Just a little shout-out is being considerate...
