My father was Marion Kirkland Ramsey born April 3, 1930 in Williams, South Carolina, son of Laurie Duncan Ramsey and Annie Marie Johnson Ramsey both buried in the Williams Cemetery in Williams, South Carolina.
My mother was Setsuko "Betty" Uno Ramsey born April 10, 1928 in Ele'ele, Kauai, Hawaii, daughter of Kichiro Uno and Nobu "Rose" Uno both of Honolulu, Hawaii. They were both originally from the Chiba Prefecture in Japan and they moved to Hawaii in the late 1800's.
