Adding Photos:
When adding photo to a memorial, if one is already present, please do not add unless the one that is already on the memorial is difficult to read or is not of the complete headstone, footstone or family plot stone. Adding other photos, ex. obituary, please cite the source, if possible, for all obituaries and other documents posted if not labeled on the document.
If you have an obituary photo and there is no room for you to post yours, you could scan and change to text and send it as suggestion to add to the bio section.
When adding a grave marker photo from the funeral home or cemetery, please enter it as 'other' which will make it possible to know that person still needs a headstone or grave photo added.
Military Rank for Deceased Veterans:
A deceased veteran does not lose their rank they have reached during time in service, however, it should not be used either with their name or on memorials in their name, unless they have retired or have died in service to their country. The rank they reached can always be added to the Bio section of the memorial. If a veteran is not marked as a veteran, please suggest having the veteran marked as such.
