I was born 2-10-42 at Main Post Hospital, Ft. Bragg,NC. to M/Sgt Gerald Matthew Foster,Jr, (Clemmons, NC) and Martha Mildred Ingram, (Wilson, NC) My grandfather and grandmothers names were Gerald Matthew Foster, and Bertie Mae Freeman of Winston Sale, NC.
The first 35 years I lived in Fayetteville, NC where I operated a small chain of Musical Instrument Stores. I am a US Army Veteran of Vietnam, 67-68, 9th Infantry Div. 3/34th Artillery. I am a long term Private Pilot. Since 1978 I have resided in Raleigh, NC.
In July 1963 I married Donna Joyce Taylor of Fayetteville, NC. We are still married. I have 3 brothers, Don Thomas Foster, Fayetteville, NC Richard Dean Foster, Fayettevi1le, NC, and Mitchell Foster, Ft. Walton Beach, Fl. My Mother, Martha, passed Nov 1, 2007.
