Have been working on late husband's four grandparents since 1992. Having major trouble with Carters prior to 1831. I believe Patrick Henry Carter and George Washington Carter dropped out of the sky...no parents. :-) Although my husband has been gone quite some time, I still get back to looking for those parents every so often. Wish me luck.
