I was born on the west coast, raised in Oklahoma and lived on the east coast before moving back to Oklahoma. I come from a VERY large family that is literally scattered across the United States. I am a direct descendant of the Quaker, John Woolman on my mother's side and a direct descendant of a signatory of the United States Declaration Of Independence, John Witherspoon on my father's side. History is in my blood. I am one of those people who will stop at every historical marker to take a picture and read it. After all someone did something that someone else thought was important enough to take note. So who am I to not note what it was that happened?

As with all the graves they are someone that mattered to another at one time. Perhaps now all their family is gone or perhaps they got lost in time and their location has been forgotten. I choose to take the time to remember them and if lucky reunite them with a family member by adding their grave to the data bank at "Find A Grave". I enjoy helping others to find, remember and honor their families.
