As a proud and strong Canadian, I cannot contemplate being the 51st state of the lands south of us. Rather, I think that we should adopt our errant brethren as the Southwest & Southeast Territories of Canada. I'm certain they would enjoy unlimited access to our famous Maple Syrup !

We live in very troubled times and we need to pull together in unity and not disperse in different directions.

IBVM Project

Since before Covid, I have been working on a project to ensure that each Sister of this Religious Order has an accurate memorial on FG. To date, there are over 800 memorials on FG, and about a thousand entries in my database when those are still Serving God, Postulants, those who left the Order or other unconfirmed names are included.

I give my most sincere thanks to everyone who helped me on this journey which began with an serendipitous meeting with the head Archivist of the Order in Toronto, Ontario, and continued as I met with several retired Sisters to glean an insight into their dedication to God. Trips were made to several cities and towns to photograph convents and associated cemeteries while other "American cousins" assisted me with sites in the Chicago area.
