My name is Nakita Moffitt, and I live in Tulsa, OK. Although I have been interested in genealogy all my adult life, it has only been the last couple of years that I have been able to spend quality time deeply researching all the branches of my family and my husband's family.

I am a retired high school history teacher and spent the last years of my career teaching my favorite subject, American History. My interest includes the Slack family (originally from the Netherlands), Kennedys and Sweeneys from Ireland, Brewers and Browns from the Virginia area, and on my husband's side, the Moffitts (many spellings), the Rittenhouse, Winters, Dutton, and Stephens families from the Northeast. I enjoy helping others begin their family searches and am glad to share any information I have.
