About twenty years ago I started searching for the families of both myself and my husband. Like everyone else, I have hit brick walls and part of my "bucket list" is to get past those walls. In my search, I have also learned things I didn't know, some good and some not so good. One of the missing parts is my maiden name. We know it was Schmidt or Schmitt but changed to Smith by my Great-grandfather who ran away from home to avoid an abusive father.

Most of my memorials are family members and part of my family tree. Others are ones I added for friends and will eventually transfer them to their family. Pictures have come from me personally or requests I have made of other members and I sincerely thank them for their help.

I am happy to assist others in their search for family and welcome any help from others in my search.
