I've been researching my family history off and on since the late 1970s. My parents started it and I picked it up and got information on the computer.
Now I try to stay in touch with family members through greeting cards and requesting updates on their families. I also developed a family website and am in the process of updating the information there, including finding obituaries, cemeteries, grave site photos, and information on Ancestry.com and FamilySearch.org.
I've found it fascinating to see the changes over time, since more records have been digitized and it's relatively easier to locate information.
Many thanks to the Find A Grave founders, and especially to all the contributors for their hard work in establishing memorials, taking photos, and their willingness to share the photos.
