I have been researching many family lines and the history that created the areas in the Bedford County, Cambria County, and Somerset County, and parts of Cumberland County, Pennsylvania for many years.

I have discovered and learned the history of when the first settlers arrived to the different areas to form the many towns, and counties in the Pennsylvania area.

It is always fascinating to wonder what had inspired a person to travel a distance either from over the ocean waters, or miles in a covered wagon, or by horseback, train, or other means of transportation to arrive at a certain area. Then to begin settling in and establishing a legacy throughout the different times in the course of history.

It is intriguing how a certain surnames may have traveled with other family members to one location. But the families only split apart and settled miles away. Where one family may have settled on one end of one county, and the other family then settled on the other end of the county. Where in present day genealogy researching you will learn and discover how both families were actually originally connected in the family lines.

I have accomplished researching and learning my own family genealogy. But I have also assisted with many other people in helping in researching, then discovering, and learning their own family genealogy.

PLEASE DO NOT PLACE ANY AI Family photographs on ANY of MY MEMORIALS!

I would sincerely appreciate for people to NOT place on a half dozen photographs of a headstone for my memorials. Findagrave administration will not remove the additional photographs. This then makes it very frustrating because there is no ability to add any additional documents on a memorial to benefit other people in the cyberworld researching their family trees.

Please be courtesy and provide proper credit, if you use any of the photographs I have posted on a memorial. I have noticed there are posters taking the photographs and using them on Ancestry and other genealogy websites. But not providing proper credit where they first acquired the photographs. Please learn to be again courtesy and respectful on providing the proper credit on where you acquired the photographs.

If you have any questions on what material I do find time to place on find a grave that you feel is incorrect. Please respectively ask your question(s) on someone you are researching. I am willing to listen. But I will inform you I have done a LOT of research. I will only discuss the question if you have done the real world research yourself on finding factual documentation in the real world and not the cyber world on the person you are having questions about in the first place.

Any time there is genealogy on the internet, one should not take it as the gospel truth. Not unless there is factual documentation. Anyone researching their own family history should do their own personal research in the real world to learn their family history. First with finding and discovering as many factual documentations they are able to discover to help show reference to what the person was in identity when they were alive. Many people may think Death Certificates are disrespectful. But actually Death Certificates are a fact of life. The information on the Death Certificate may be acquarite or may have some mistakes. But the Death Certificate provides helpful information in many different aspects in researching family genealogy. Just like when someone discovers a Birth Certificate, a Family Bible, a Marriage License, and a Military document. These documents are also beneficial in researching a deceased individual or a family member.

This find a grave site has already been helpful with different people researching their own family tree. I am thankful I have heard back from so many family members out there in the cyber world. I appreciate the POSITIVE feed back, I have received to know I have been able to BLESS many people in the cyber world on finding their family legacy.

One must remember that even in the cyber world that the headstone or genealogy on someone is actually someone else's loved one laid to rest. There should STILL be HONOR AND RESPECT even in this cyber world for the person deceased and the material placed on a find a grave memorial.

Genealogy is a history of family roots, where one starts with themselves and then continues to learn and discover more factual information by researching in the real world the documented history of the individual.
