I am family tree nut who started out just wanting to get the Pentwater Cemetery done because I saw it was lacking. I was hooked fast! I love Findagrave. I found many missing pieces for my own family tree and I received notes from others saying my worked helped them solve theirs.

I don't mind transferring Memorials to family as long as they aren't my family too. All I ask is that you don't delete mine to replace with your own.

FYI- If you are one of the mass memorial creators who create a Memorial the moment it hits the newspapers and it places the grave as "unknown" and I come along and know the person personally because they are local and I put them in their correct cemetery, please dont be a jerk and tell me to delete my memorial just because you "had yours first" I dont mind transferring to family but if you have 10K memorials and you live across the state I am not going to delete my memorial just because you got your cart ahead of the horse. FAG is about creating memorials for our loved ones and to help others find burial information in the future..
