Having gathered family information and stories most of my life and starting the family genealogy in 1983, I know how important it is to pass on to our children the lives and history of our family. For some of us, this is the only way we will know our ancestors.

There is no doubt when I find a loved one listed on the internet it brings up loving memories and sadness intertwined.

For those who are new to genealogy, beware of those who have not documented their info and list the sources as someone else tree. This is how wrong info gets passed around. Do you truly want your children linked to someone who isn't their grandparents?

All these reasons are why I became involved with Find-A-Grave. I believe Family should be maintained, with honor, dignity, and truth. Thanks to all who have helped me do this.

Previously, I gave permission to use photos and information from my memorials, with the understanding of giving proper credit to those who submitted them. Abuse has been found online pertaining to both. It forces me to this decision, I DO NOT give permission to use either. It is obvious who you are.
