I started my family tree in January of 2011, and have found Findagrave.com to be a valuable resource to help with mislabeled census data, poorly transcribed documents and such. It's hard to ignore information engraved in granite!
I continue to find answers to problematic family stories and fables by looking to the cemeteries. I live in Orange County, CA and hope to document many of the graves I come across for those who start doing genealogy like I did...one generation at a time.
