Chuck Adams is an accomplished business applications specialist and system implementation project manager. He specializes in applying technical, operational and strategic IT solutions that address complex organizational, financial and marketplace requirements. His career has focused on helping companies achieve ambitious goals while delivering profitable results.
Mr. Adams has directed hundreds of IT projects ranging in scope from departmental system improvements – to multi-divisional system implementations – and ultimately to enterprise-wide strategic planning
initiatives. As a result, he has become adept in understanding and managing the complex human behavioral responses to rapid changes in business processes and enabling technologies. He helps companies integrate the technological changes that are essential for adopting industry best-practices while responding to a rapidly evolving governmental regulatory environment. His industries of focus include telecommunications, energy, consumer electronics, software, and business services. He also has significant experience in the public sector, commercial real estate and financial services.
Chuck began his career as a corporate telecommunications engineer for The Southern Company, one of the country’s largest generators of electrical power. He later opened his own IT consulting practice that he eventually merged with KPMG, one of the world’s largest public accounting, tax and consulting partnerships. After many years with KPMG, he helped launch several highly successful internet technology firms that built B2B and B2C markets using innovative financial trading models.
Later he worked with Boss Corporation - a Certified Oracle Applications Service Partner to develop new business initiatives and support clients as they leveraged Oracle solutions in their daily operations. He recently served as the CIO at EBechtle LLC in Duluth, GA where he helped develop this growing German engineering/IT professional services firm.
Mr. Adams earned his BS in Electrical Engineering at Tennessee Technological University and his MBA in Management Information Systems at Mercer University. He has served for many years as an instructor in business and information technology courses at Mercer University, Georgia Institute of Technology, and Southern Polytechnic State University. He has also taught many business-sponsored IT seminars and is an expert meeting facilitator and conference room pilot.
