Thank you to my mother for giving me the verbal history of our family and for telling me the stories. You have laid the foundation.
In regards to the those veterans who sacrificed all: ''If you can speak their name, then they will never die.''
Permission is granted for you to use any of my photos for your personal web pages or family books but please site the source. They may NOT be used to sell or repost to other public web sites other than ancestry.com.
I would also ask that you not post pictures of their birth, marriage or death certificate to my memorials. A website address or snip it version of the index is fine.

Things I have learned along the way...........
*Always try the kindness route first. It often adds to your overall life's worth and well being. Just like Mom said, "If you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all.''
*Veterans designation on Find a Grave is not meant as a literal designation, but as a search/identify tool for those of us looking for ''our people'' who have served in the military. While some countries use it only for those members who survived the war, this is not what it is meant for on Find a Grave. Do we really need to split hairs on this? Also, the abbreviation for Private in Canadian forces is Pte., while for American forces it is Pvt.
*If you can help with information such as the transcription of a gravestone, do it! All of us are getting on, and what I see as a 8 or a 6 or a 3, may be obvious to me but not to someone else. Write it out and then voila there it is. If you have made a mistake in the transcription, someone will for sure set you straight.
*Although a great place for genealogy this is a GRAVES REGISTRATION SITE!
