2017. 77 years of age and stilling kicking. The longest living Taylor in my line in 4 generations. Born in Oakland, CA, raised in Southern Monterey County (Steinbeck Country). I'm retired and dabble in family history. The picture is of a high Sierra Nevada, native cut-throat trout. Nice fish huh?

My ancestor,John Taylor, came to the Massachusetts Bay Colony with the John Winthrop fleet of Puritans in 1630. I had ancestors who fought in the Revolutionary War. I'm a Coast Guard Officer vet. and retired Calif. professional engineer .
