A native of Jonesboro, Arkansas and a graduate of Arkansas State University. I was Circulation Manger of the JONESBORO SUN newspaper and district manager of the ARKANSAS DEMOCRAT-GAZETTE for 35 years. Now retired I research my families of Arkansas, Tennessee, Alabama, North Carolina, South Carolina and Virginia. I am a member of the Arkansas Genealogical Society, Tennessee Genealogical Society, Craighead county Genealogical Society, Greene county Historical and Genealogical Society. I have been working on FAMILY HISTORY/GENEALOGY since 1974 when I was given my first family tree on two newspaper sized sheets.
