Started working on genealogy in the mid 1990s, but various members of my family have kept records for centuries. You will find I maintain extensive (offline) research on the family of Thomas Botts of colonial Stafford County, Virginia and have registered my DNA with Family Tree DNA and Ancestry.com. My brother has the family bible of Reverend Joseph Botts of St. Marys, Hancock County, Illinois. My records currently cover over 147,000 relatives and in-laws of my son. Major family lines include Botts, Gaines, Garnett, Pendleton, and Taylor and Boone, Harrison, Lincoln, Schuyler and Underwood.
