Artist, writer, poet, family researcher, and OIF/OEF Veteran and Sergeant First Class Retired from the U.S. Army with several distinguished awards stateside and overseas. She holds a Master Science in Leadership, Bachelor's Science in Justice Studies, Associate's in Homeland Security, and a multitude of professional certifications.
Currently, has two anthology series with the Library of Congress under the former name Joan Ellen Kimbrough-Lewis and a recent one under the Gandy name.
We are all the same and our time on this earth is meant to be spent exchanging the growing kind of knowledge and kindness with one another.
