We are presently located in Pettis County, Missouri, but are originally from the Missouri Ozarks.

Our main research interest has been the Ozarks where the family is from.

Mo-RFD (my 'handle') stands for Missouri-Rural Free Delivery, an idea that developed in the very late 19th century and presently has 133,000 mail carriers on 80,000 rural routes. Multiple family members have served as post master mostly in towns that now no longer have post offices
