If any memorial that I manage isn't related to me but is to you, please feel free to ask to be its steward. That person belongs with family. Also, the new guidelines have expanded those covered by a required transfer. As of January 2022, those relationships are:

"…child, spouse/partner, sibling, parent, grandchild, great-grandchild, grandparent, great-grandparent, niece/nephew, great-niece/nephew, aunt/uncle, great-aunt/uncle, or first cousin. This would include adoptive, step and in-law versions of these relationships."

I'm more than happy to process edits, but in order to do so, corrobative primary sources are highly suggested to accompany these requests (such as an uploaded, nicely cropped & cited newspaper article, census record, death certificate, etc.). Please don't rely on user-inputted familysearch.org or ancestry.com trees info as gospel; they can be riddled with errors if they aren't validated with primary sources. In the past, I've gladly taken time to research each request so as to avoid improper linking or erroneously adding vital info to a memorial. I just don't have this time any more.
