I am an avid researcher. I have been doing Ancestry research for over 15 or so years. I have burned the midnight oil many nights. About the time I get ready to quit, I will strike a new vein and will keep at it another couple of hours.
I lived in the Salt Lake City area for a year and had the privilege to research the library there. It was a bit overwhelming to say the least.
I rely on other people's research as well but before I use their findings, I verify it with online records to the best of my ability. That does not say that my trees do not have any mistakes in them. I do my best to be as accurate as possible. I ALWAYS welcome any corrections that anyone will offer.
This is a passion of mine that I hope one day my children will pick up but if not, oh well... I hope someone out there can benefit from it. At any rate it has been rewarding to me.
