Empty nester syndrome has left me lots of time to ponder the eternal question... who am I! I have always been interested in history and my family line, so I have jumped in head first into my ancestry! My paternal side of the family (Drevo) came to the US (Nebraska and Kansas) from Bohemia (Czech Republic) and my maternal side is well...US mutt, all from the OH and PA areas! (Irish, Scottish, English, Pennsylvania Dutch (ie: Germans who settled in PA and have their own, strange language!)..you name it, it's there!) I'm descended (maternal side)from the line who gave birth to George Washington, among other interesting people! My tree consists of some of the following names:
