I was born in Austin, Texas on May 16, 1955. I married Susan Lynn Jenkinson of Fort Worth, Texas on May 20, 1984 and we have one daughter Katherine Elizabeth born November 24, 1991 in Fort Worth, Texas. Since 1993 we have made our home in The Woodlands, just north of Houston, Texas. I have spent most of my career in the entertainment industry, currently I produce concerts and special events. My alter ego wears a "Red Suit" as Jolly Santa Jeff, a professional "Real Beard" Santa Claus, Ho Ho HO!!!
As for family, I am the eldest son of Lester Lee Moreland born, Nov. 4, 1919 in Goldthwaite, Mills County Texas and who died February 23, 1987 Houston, Harris County, Texas. My mother is Ruby Dell Ashmore Moreland, born January 28, 1923 in Manor, Travis County, Texas and died September 11, 2003 in Conroe, Texas. Both are buried in the Goldthwaite Memorial Cemetery in my father's family plot and next to his parents Hugh and Leona Ross Moreland and brother Jesse. My mother's parents James Melvin Asmore Sr. and Mary McCullough Ashmore are buried along with many other family members in the Manor Cemetery outside of Austin, Travis County Texas. The eldest of three children. My siblings are Timothy Paul Moreland April, 24, 1959 of Houston, Texas and Leesa Moreland Burford, April 29, 1963 of Magnolia, Texas.
