I have been doing my family tree for about 15 plus years now.My father was born "out of wedlock". He was adopted as an infant into the Maxwell family side. His birth mother's family name was Muir. They were from Lochrutton & Dalbeattie area of south west Scotland.

I like to travel up to Scotland about twice a year

and search through the old cemeteries there.

My mothers side of the family are from West, Co Clare, Ireland. She was born and raised in Rehy and attended school at Cross village with her 3 sisters. Her maiden name was Cotter.

My late wife's father was from Killaloe, Co Clare while her mothers family was Lincoln, West Hartlepool, Manchester then Southport.
