I am a married mother of two kids. I grew up in Andover, Minnesota,a suburb of Minneapolis. I graduated from Blaine Senior High in 1986, the University of Minnesota in 1991, and got my master's degree from St. Mary's University in 1998.
When our first child was 10 months old, we relocated to southern Minnesota, finally settling near Mankato in the fall of 1999. At the present time I am a member of Americorps with the LEAP Initiative. I am also an aspiring novelist, an avid reader, a novice photographer, a novice genealogist, and a student of human nature. I love volunteering and history, which is why I am a Findagrave volunteer.
