I am a native Texan by at least 5 generations that I have been able to trace so far and have been bitten by the Texas History bug as well as the study of my family's roots. I come from Pioneer stock from Texas and Arkansas. Many sides of my tree fought for the Confederacy. So far my explorations has led beyond that to Ireland and France.

I am an avid amateur photographer with a degree in art and theater. My "day job" is a seller of Lavender products and Antique Dealer.

My husband and I are the type who love to travel and since all we have are the 4 legged kind of kids, our love for it has taken us to Europe several times. We are now both ready to explore our roots across the USA!
