I have been an amatuer genealogist for more than 40 years. My research includes pre-American Revolutionary lines and early twentieth century Belgian and Mexican immigrants. Grandchildren's
lines add Native American (Creek and Cherokee), Pilgrim, Irish, and Swedish lines.
Genealogy allows me to combine my problem solving and research skills with my love of history and photography. It is not about collecting names and dates, but about finding out who these family members were, how they lived, and what events impacted their lives.
