For me, the importance of Find-a-Grave is knowing where my relatives are resting and making connections with living relatives. I have an extensive tree on Ancestry -id -janicekh1-tree-Robertson/Eaves/Barnes/Reeder.... I have DNA there, 23andMe, GEDmatch, FamilyTreeDNA and My Heritage. Please let me know if we share DNA. When I take photos of my relatives graves I also take all those around them, partly because very often they are family I don't know yet. But I also do it as a way of paying it forward. So if I have created a memorial for your relative in this way and I am not related I will gladly transfer it to you. Just use the request tab.
